Music & Worship Ministry

The music ministry makes a huge impact in the life of the church, not only by enriching the worship experience every Sunday, but also bringing the church family together. We love singing, playing instruments and using our talents to inspire our surrounding community and honor God.

  • Praise Ringers Handbell Choir

The Bell Choir has a long tradition of ringing bells since 1983, when Chet Hansen, the first music director, and a few church members, including Margaret Mordhorst led the project.

The group has proliferated through the years and is blessed to have a full set of Handbells and a 4 octaves set of Handchimes.

The choir rehearses every Thursday from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

  • Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir, with a traditional SATB formation, gives special renditions during the Sunday service a few times a month.

Special music presentations include Christmas and Easter Cantatas and our annual Patriotic Musical in July.

The choir rehearses every Thursday from 6:00-7:30 pm in Centennial Hall.

  • Praise Band

The Praise Band practices every Thursday evening from 7:30-9:00 pm in the Sanctuary. They provide musical accompaniment for our worship services. If you play an instrument (guitar, banjo, drums, keyboard, etc.), or enjoy singing and are interested in joining this fun group.

  • cHILDREN'S mUSIC

During the Wednesday night programming, our children are learning about the important role of music in worship. Sebastian works with the children to prepare special musical offerings to the congregation, the children engage in singing, playing the handchimes, handbells and other performance concepts such as silent acting, mime, and skits.

  • Youth Band

Following our youth group lesson, the youth gather in the sanctuary for a worship music jam session. They love the newer worship songs and come together to play piano, keyboard, guitar, drums, and more.
